Patriots 38, Cardinals 3
The Cardinals hosted the New England Patriots in this week 1 battle. After a dismal pre-season the Cardinals came out flat in the home opener. Carson Palmer had a terrible day throwing 3 INT's and fumbled the ball twice. David Johnson had a decent day at the office but also coughed up the ball.
The defense had just as bad a day as the offense. The only bright side was Mike Neal who was really the only one to lay a hand on Brady. Nobody was able to touch Blount as he rumbled for a complete total 222 yards and 2 TD's. Dion Lewis also pounded one in from and Brady was able to connect with Edelman and Cotchery each added TD's through the air.
