The ratings of the top five quarterbacks in Madden 16 have been released. Aaaron Rodgers comes in at the top (and possibly the highest rated player overall) at 99. Tom Brady (97), Drew Brees (95), Ben Roethlisberger (95) and Andrew Luck (94) round out the top five. Here is the full breakdown via the Madden 16 website:

AARON RODGERS (99 OVR)
GREEN BAY PACKERS
6’2, 225 POUNDS

The NFL MVP is excellent at many things. Between his 95 Throw Power, 98 Play Action, and 88 Throw on the Run, Rodgers can beat you in or out of the pocket. He’s awfully accurate, too. His 80 TAD is tops in the league, and he also boasts 94 TAS/92 TAM.

TOM BRADY (97 OVR)
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
6’4, 225 POUNDS

Brady claims league-best marks with 96 TAS and 97 TAM. Brady threads the needle with 94 Throw Power, but lay off the deep ball with his 70 TAD.

DREW BREES (95 OVR)
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
6’0, 209 POUNDS

Even without All-Pro Tight End Jimmy Graham, it’s tough to bet against Brees. He starts 2015 with 93 TAS/91 TAM/79 TAD, and also adds 87 Throw Power and 93 Play Action.

BEN ROETHLISBERGER (95 OVR)
PITTSBURGH STEELERS
6’5, 241 POUNDS

Big Ben is tops among all QBs with 85 Strength and 95 Throw on the Run, which makes him tough to bring down. He adds 94 Throw Power to 87 TAS/90 TAM/73 TAD, and deceives with 92 Play Action.

ANDREW LUCK (94 OVR)
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
6’4, 240 POUNDS

Luck boasts the same league-high 95 Throw on the Run as Big Ben, with comparable accuracy at 88 TAS/89 TAM/75 TAD. He also features 95 Throw Power and 92 Play Action.

What do you guys think? I wonder how far Peyton Manning dropped? Where is Tony Romo (92? 93?)?

Also, its interesting that we still have 99 OVR rated players but they dropped the overall speed ratings. For me, I think if you are going to keep a 0-99 ratings scale, then you have to allow that for all position attributes (and overalls). How is it that Tom Brady has a 97 and 96 throw accuracy but Jamaal Charles is only a 92 speed? Is Brady really that much more accurate the Charles is fast?

I guess we will learn more when we see the wide receivers and cornerbacks speed ratings. It is just hard to draw a realistic parallel when early on it does not appear the number value on the ratings means the same for each attribute.

What say you Madden Nation?

looks like they are cracking down more on deep ball accuracy. Rodgers is tops in the game with only 80. This year playing with low rated or young developing QBs could be harder than ever lol.

I have Stafford listed in the 2nd tier (80's rating) i spaced them out as figured it would be easier to read

Stafford rated 6 points lower then Ryan and cam is down right laughable
yea I am a lil frustrated with his ratings... I do think Ryan is a good QB and ironically I mainly use Atlanta and Detroit... and they are very similar but have very high throwing power (in 15 Stafford was 99 and Ryan was 95) and accuracy was similar as well and wrs were similar with megatron being 6'5 and great stats all around and Julio being 5 years younger at 6'4 with great stats as well. #2 wrs are very comp as well but going to the #3 spot ATL has an advantage when you move Hester to the slot... very dangerous...

I don't see how you can come to the understanding cam is 6 points better even with a kinda down year for Stafford. Both teams made the playoffs so that washes out I guess. If your projecting to next year most have Stafford being more of a playmaker in year 2 of the offense. Ryan's stats are overrated (im a Falcons fan) because he had so many attempts. I am not saying Stafford should be rated higher but 6 points higher c'mon man.

3,127 to 4,257 - 18 and 12 to 22 and 12, 58% to 60%, ypa 6.98 to 7.07 (Stafford is 2nd)
