Chargers get a 3rd round pick for an expiring player that probably won't be reaigned.

With Donald Butler buried on the depth chart at OLB he will move to MLB and earn the 6 mil he's making this year.

One thing I like to do is compare trades to recent one and this one is similar to the bears-raiders where Fuller was traded for a late 3rd round pick.

Like that trade you have 2 smart owners who know there teams inside and out and also knows the value of players on there team. Both these guys also look at the long term not just the short term .

Perryman is a guy with youth and the Browns have the cap room to resign him if the wants to. He isn't a great starter but he is a good one so a late 3rd round pick seems right to me.
