Well all the teams have some games in now. We have some good stats to look at since our last power rankings. Here is the previous top 5 and the new top 5.

Previous
1. New England Patriots
2. Detroit Lions
3. Oakland Raiders
4. Washington Redskins
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Here is the week 4 top 5

1. New England Patriots
Since this team started at #1 in our rankings, all they have done is win. And win big. Their closest game was a 15 point win against the Bills. They have the highest points scored this season. Averaging 38.8 points a game. Led by Future Hall of Famer Tom Brady and his 14 passing TDS and an amazing run D (1st in NFL). The defense has only allowed 131 total rushing yards so far.

2. Detroit Lions
The top 2 hasn't changed since our first rankings, with the Lions coming in at #2 again. The Lions are still undefeated. Led by one of the top offensive units in the league so far. This team mainly gets in done on the ground. They lead the league in rushing and rushing TDS. This team gets it done defensively by taking the ball away. As they also lead the league in interceptions (20).

3. Cleveland Browns
A new team to the top 5, Cleveland comes in at #3. This team gets it done defensively. They have given up the fewest points so far in the season (50). The Browns are top 10 in sacks (12) and top 5 in interceptions (12). The Browns are still trying to find their offensive groove but 71% completion percentage from RG3 and only 3 int's is allowing this defense to win games for them.

4. San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers make the list at #4. This team is lead by a top 5 rushing attack. Carlos Hyde leads the way with 309 yards and 6 TDS. The bruising back is hard to bring down. 146 of his yards have came after contact which is second best in the NFL. The 49ers are also a beast at rushing the passer. As they are tied for the league lead with 20 sacks. Aaron Lynch leads the team with 5 of those sacks.

5. Los Angeles Rams
A surprise team to make the list, the Rams are playing much better than most experts thought. Their only loss coming in a close 30-22 loss to the #4, 49ers. Rookie QB and 1st overall pick in the draft, Jared Goff has played exceptionally well. Leading his team offensively with 8 TDS. Todd Gurley and Tre Mason are a great 1-2 punch for this team. And now, with both the air and ground game working, this will be a tough team to stop.

Teams that just missed the cut.
Panthers
Chiefs
Raiders
Broncos

Look for another power rankings thread around week 9.
