#9 Oklahoma upset by #17Virginia

#9 Oklahoma comes into Charlotsville to face an impressive UVA team this year. UVA ranked #23 at the beginning of the season, upset UCLA with an impressive defensive performance, comes in ranked #17 to this weeks game. After having a bye week, they still looked fired up. OU gets the ball to start the game, and the strong UVA defense holds. UVA would go down and score a touchdown after that to take a 7-0 lead from a 6 yard slant pass from SR QB David Watford to SO WR Andre Levrone. OU would advance down the field to score next. 7-7 after 1. They would trade touchdowns in the 2nd quarter, then Watford misreads the coverage and throws an INT, leading to another OU touchdown. OU ahead 21-14. UVA collects themselves and stays calm, and sustains a drive to tie it up with 22 seconds left in the half from a 4 yard run from JR HB Taquan Mizzell. 21-21 at halftime. Once again the two powerhouse teams would trade TD's in the third quarter, with the score 28-28 after 3. After trading touchdowns YET AGAIN in the 4th. UVA would get the ball with 3 minutes to go. Score tied 35-35 Mizzell does a great job at getting some nice yardage to get consistent first downs. UVA would drive down the field, calla timeout with 3 seconds left, and after an ice attempt, Charlie Frye ends up nailing the 39 yard feild goal for the win. UVA goes to 2-0 on the season, and has a bye week next week. They'll keep practicing, to get ready to go on the road to face Arizona St. Key to the game was UVA being 10/10 on third down. Even through they had 3 turnovers, they still fought and fought to pound out this win.
