GREAT SHOWING, BUT TOO LATE
UNLV looked like they were tired of losing as the welcome BYU into their house. UNLV wins 38-6 in the best performance we have seen from them this year. The defense was strong, the offense was strong, the coaching was strong. Everything looked like it was meant to be this game. They just came off a heartbreaking 31-29 loss and before that was a pretty good win, so this offense is starting to click more and more as the season progresses. The problem is its too late. With Nevada having a 7-0 Conference record, it looks as if they are going to win ,and UNLV's 4-5 Conference record lands them 4th in the conference. Bowl hopes are lost as well, as UNLV only has 1 game left against SJSU week 14. At the best UNLV can finish 5-7. It's a dissapoint season for UNLV and especially for SR QB Nick Sherry. He was hoping to lead his team to a bowl, and hopefully get drafted. Those dreams were most likley washed away this year as well. UNLV just continued to move the ball and score this game, with the big hitter being a 72 yard strike in the third from SR QB Nick Sherry to SO WR Devonte Boyd.

Tulane spent their bye week preparing for navy which is one of the two final conference games this year. With a win here the almist guarantee their spot in the American championship game. They also have 8 recruits visiting next week which 5 of them they are battling other schools for. The last time they had recruits in the stands they got caught up in stats and trying to perform well for recruits instead of focusing on the game and lost a close one to Umass.
