Tulane on a roll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was suppose to be the week Tulane fell back where they belong. Tulane's coach had newspaper article around the locker room and the weight room about how Houston was going to come to town and whip Tulane back to their rightful place in the conference. Tulane had a different idea.

Houston received the opening kickoff and Tulane set the tone right from the start. Houston throws 3 incomplete passes for a 3 and out. Tulane takes over on their own 45 and on the first play Rounds takes the hand off 51 yards down to the 4 yard line and punches it in on the next play. The next couple of series looked like Houston got their self together when another short field gives Tulane another touchdown. Houston lost the field position game today which would cost them dearly. Trailing 14-0 Houston put together a 80 yard drive for a touchdown and put some life back into their sail. On the ensuing kickoff Tulanes backup RB SO(RS) McGuire (Picture at top) took the kick-off 97 yards for a Tulane TD and a 21-7 lead that seemed to crush What little spirit Houston had left. Tulane scored on the opening drive of the 3rd quarter to make it 28-7 and they would roll from there.

Tulane is the hot team right now in the American conference. How will they fair when they travel to #25 Cincinnati next week?
