UNLV just had their best year of the existence of their program this year, and it came under the helm of Head Coach Bubba Gump. They finished the year 12-2, reached a national ranking of #15, won the MWC Conference Championship against Boise St. University 21-12, and won the Las Vegas Bowl against Arizona 52-42. UNLV had the first Heisman winner in their program, and the first in the MWC conference this year as well. Coach Gump also won the Las Vegas Bowl in 2014, bringing the team to a 10-4 record. UNLV surprised alot of people this year, but most likely won't have another year like this until another savior like Coach Gump comes around.
