Troubles in La-La Land

7 games into the season things are looking bleak in the new-ish stadium. The smaller crowds have no affect on the visiting teams and surely the fans that are able to attend can’t be happy with how the team is performing. Phillip Rivers has thrown 15 interceptions this year and has made some overthrows that should have not happened. While his age was a concern at the beginning of the season, maybe his play is what the front office should be looking at. Melvin Gordon still has a couple weeks left to deal with his injury and you can feel his absence as Branden Oliver just cannot get it done from the backfield. Once Gordon is back you should see a resurgence in the running game but without a decent 1-2 punch combo it may not be effective as the front office would like. Looking forward at potential draft choices the front office has to be looking for another QB and possibly a powerback HB. Though the offensive line may need some work it is the least of the Chargers worries in the upcoming seasons.
