Time Killer League FAQ

We created the Time Killer league just to pass time until the release of Madden 16. It will also allow guys to brush up on their skills and get used to using the player rankings to log their games. There have been a few questions so we wanted to address them.

Do you have to use the scheduling thread to schedule games?

Short answer, no. This is not an official league so we will not have the same requirement we would of such a league. However, it wouldn't be a bad idea to getting back in the habit of using the scheduling thread and posting when you are playing your games.

Why are we allowing user catch?

As most of you know we banned user catch last year unless you were controlling the player from the start of the play. However, this year, with the new WR/DB interactions, we felt we needed to allow users to use that feature. Also, it wouldn't be fair for the offense to be able to switch while the ball was in the air (to use the new mechanic) and not the defense. So we are allowing it so users can get used to switch to their receivers or DBs again. Hopefully everyone understand why we banned it last year and doesn't use it for cheap INTs or user catches to get a win in a practice league :)

What is the advance schedule?

Typically every 48 hours or less. We won't do an official advance as it is more relaxed as we kill time waiting for Madden 16. However, everyone should try to get their games in ASAP after advance and be ok simming if they are busy and can't get on and everyone else is done.

What playbooks can we use?

No custom playbooks will be allowed again in M16 but we will allow any other playbook in the game (legends included). The player rankings should keep guys in check so we shouldn't have to worry too much about exploiting stuff. Also, this gives you a chance to test out different playbooks and see what you might want to run in Madden 16.

Those cover the most common questions we've had so far. If you have any others just post them in here and either pack1797 or I will address them.
