The Silver and Black Attack once again

Week 1 started off fantastic with a dominant performance by the defense forcing 7 turnovers with 6 of them being ints against joe flacco. Carr wasnt asked to do much but threw for just shy of 200 yards with a td and an int. Murrary struggled running against the ravens front even though he punched it in for 2 tds, while his back up Justice had 7 carries for 50 yards and was a breaking tackle machine. 8 different players were thrown a pass as Carr spread it out with Markis Brandon being his favorite target with 4 for 57. Defense got some pressure on Flacco but it only registered 2 sacks so they will need to up the pass rush as the season goes.

Week 2 was another dominant performance from the defensive side of the ball only giving up 2 fgs in the first half and pitched a shut out second half. Run defense didnt allow the cowboys to run at all only giving up 24 rushing yards while the pass defense was shredded for 273 yards they locked up on the goal line to only hold them to field goals. Carr was awful this game starting out 1 for 8 for 3 yards and finishing 6 for 13 for 83. Murrary carried the offense with 96 yards on 11 carries while Tavon and Cooper each had a carry. Defense was able to get a little bit of pressure on the Cowboys QB's but only was able to get 1 sack and it was Macks second on the year. The defense was able to force 2 turnovers with one being in the redzone before half to make sure he didn't score. They were able to force a fumble but weren't able to jump on it.

Week 3 was vs a divisional opponent in the Chiefs and the defense stepped up again to help the sad passing game that has been plaguing the Raiders all year. On offense Carr still looks shaky throwing for 54% while being 12 for 22 with 173 yards. Where Brandon Justice shined week 1 he has been non existent past 2 weeks as he ran for 14 yards on 6 attempts. Murrary carried the load with 13 for 78 with 2 pairs of tds but the big spark on offense was when Tavon Austin took an endaround 80 yards to the house. The Defense piled up 4 sacks on the Chiefs with Mack leading the team with 1.5 even though he only had 3 tackles. The linebackers were the one's to get the int's this game as Malcolm Smith and Ben Heeney each had 1. Mack and Heeney each had a forced fumble but the defense was only able to jump on one of them. This puts the Raiders at 3-0 to start the season after having a horrendous season last year

Week 4 was vs the Jags and saw the Raiders move to 4-0 despite a Brandon Justice fumble as we tried to control the clock at the end of the game leading to the jags only being down 10. This week we let Carr make safe easy throws where he finished 15 for 19 with 172 yards with a td and int. The run was leaned on very heavily since it was 17-3 at half due to early fumbles caused by the Raiders defense. Defense notched 2 sacks, 1 int, and 2 forced fumbles. Malcolm Smith had 3 turnovers and a sack this game and was handed the game ball.
