Welcome to the first installment of Ravens Gameday.Here at Gameday we will strive to bring you the best content from game highlights and standout players each week.As a new network there will be growing pains but hopefully the Raven faithful will enjoy. Week OneRavens vs TitansThe Titans rolled into M&T Bank on opening day and the Ravens defense was fully up to the task.Allowing 3 yards on the ground and reeling in 6 interceptions the defense and the secondary stole the day.Allowing the Ravens to win 27 to 7 in a dominant performance. Number 23 Nolan Carroll II had a stellar day grabbing three interceptions Number 92 Haloti Ngata turned in two sacks on his only two tackles setting the tone for how the defense would play and gave the home team the swagger to dominate all day long. Number 26 Matt Elam came up with this nice one handed interception doing his part in the six interception day. Number 22 Jimmy Smith coming up with a drive killing interception in the redzone. The offense also seemed to be getting into regular season form putting up twenty-seven points to compliment the defenses strong showing. Number 34 Lorenzo Taliaffero did an outstanding job filling in for the injured Demarco Murray rushing sixteen times for one hundred and three yards and one touchdown. Number eighty-eight Dennis Pitta led the team with five catches for fifty-one yards and one touchdown. First round pick number eleven Jabbar Dukes had a solid day in his first game as a Raven with three catches for fifty yards. Game Ball For Week One Nolan Carroll II One tackle and three interceptions In the end the ravens did what they had to do in week one.And that was win a home game and a conference game.They played stout defense and moved the ball on offense resulting in a solid victory.Thanks for stopping in on Ravens Gameday hope you enjoy and tune in next week.This is Lance Longstick signing off.
