First of all, let me thank you all for joining me here for this press conference. Before we get started, let me introduce myself. I am Milton Milhouse, the owner of your beloved Philadelphia Eagles. The purpose of this press conference is to go over all of our moves this offseason, and to give all of our fans an idea of what we want to accomplish this season. First lets start with our offseason resignings.

We elected to not resign Quarterback Sam Bradford, mainly due to a general lack of football knowledge, and a furter lack of football skill. His asking price was far too much based on his injury history, as well as his awful...awful play.

We did resign Left Defensive End Cedric Thorton's contract, for 4 years worth 9.2 Million, with a 3.8 Million signing bonus. We feel that Cedric is a key part of our defense, and we felt it was necessary to lock him up while we had the chance.

Next lets talk about our Free Agency aquisitions. We had a lot of spots to fill, and we did just that with a lot of young talent. We did have a few big signings that i want to mention.

We signed what we hope is the future of our franchise in Quarterback Bryce Petty to a 1 year deal worth 3.2 Million, with a 390K signing bonus. We hope that we can reach an extention with Petty to lock him up long term.

We also signed Running back Corey Grant to a 1 year deal worth 570K. Grant is a player that we feel has a lot of up-side. You will see a lot of him out of the backfield, as well as in the return game. He has game-changing speed, and we look for him to make some big plays for us this season.

We were pretty happy with our draft class. We drafted a lot of good talent that will grow quickly in to stars in this league. Our first round pick was Nate Henrix, MLB out of Clemson. We expect Nate to be a day 1 starter for our defense. Our third round pick, Anton Donaldson, is a big body receiver with great speed and a nice set of hands. He will most likely get into a starting role at some point this season, for now he's our #4 receiver. Our 5th round pick was Shakiel Reed DE/LB out of Ohio State. Reed will be a role player for us, we'd like to see him take a year and learn what he can from some of the big named guys we have right now. Patrick Clart, our 6th round pick has been a big surprise so far, he's going to get a shot to start for us at strong safety.

Coming in to this season, there was a lot of question as to who would be back next season, and who wouldn't with a lot of expiring contracts coming at the end of the season. We resigned a few guys so far, most notably Lane Johnson, Fletcher Cox, Bennie Logan, and Zack Ertz. These guys will be Eagles for a long time to come.

There are a few moves we are trying to make, with the strong draft class we are looking to get more playing time for some of our rookies. WIth that said, we are placing a few of our guys on the trade block, in hopes they can continue their careers elsewhere

Midseason Report Card
Bryce Petty - Grade: B-
Attempts: 177
Completions: 106
Yards: 1553
TD: 12
INT: 12
Comp %: 59%

Bryce Petty dealt with some legal battles over his alleged prositution ring early in the season, but returned a new man, and a new Quarterback. The Petty led Eagles started the year 0-2, and he was replaced in the lineup by Mark Sachez. After returning to the team, Petty has led them to wins to concecutive games against the Packers and Ravens, throwing for 480 yards, 4TD and 2INT. With Petty back, the eagles have flown to the top of the division.

Demarco Murray - Grade: C-
Rushes: 78
Yards: 376
TD: 1
Avg: 4.8
YPG: 62.1

Demarco is splitting time with Corey Grant, whois eaten up 35 of his carries for 134 yards, and 1 TD, but Demarco isn't doing much to get those carries back. He's averaging just 62.1 yards a game, and has only gotten in to the endzone one time. His average is great at 4.8, but when the Eagles get in to the redzone he can't seem to find the hole.

Zach Ertz - Grade: A-
Receptions: 24
Yards: 447
TD: 3
YPC: 18.6
YAC: 163

Ertz is arguably the best TE in the league right now. He only has 24 catches on teh season, but he's turning those catches in to big plays, racking up 447 yards, 2nd in the league. A good portion of those yards come from what Ertz does after the catch, where he is diceptively shifty for his size, sheding blocks and going 163 yards total after catching the ball.

Anton Donaldson - Grade: C
Receptions: 13
Yards: 199
TD: 2
YPC: 15.3

Starting at WR as a rookie is hard to do, and Donaldson is no exception. He has come up with big catches for the Eagles, His first career TD came against the division rival Cowboys, sealing the win for the Eagles. In week 6 he broke a catch 64 yards to set up the Eagles came sealing touchdown. He could be a lot better though, only reeling in 13 catches over 6 games for just under 200 yards.

La'el Collins - Grade: A+
Games Played: 5
Sacks Allowed: 0
Pancakes: 2

Collins has really solidifed the Eagles offensive line. Since joining the team he hasn't allowed a sack, hushing the critiques saying the trade to aquire him was not worth it.
