Ownership Change in Chicago

Monday the Chicago Bears were bought out by a new owner Christopher Magoon. He takes the reigns of the team in week 3 coming off a nail biting loss to the Philadelphia Eagles falling to 1-1 on the season. Next up on the schedule for the Bears is the 0-2 Dallas Cowboys.

When asked what his expectations for the team was in his first season of ownership Magoon stated, "To make the Post Season". One reporter asked him to elaborate to which he replied, "In order to have a chance to win it all you have to make it, every one knows that and every one has the same goal." Magoon promptly left the press conference to meet with the coaching staff and the players.

Team Outlook
Jay Cutler has looked absolutely dismal to start the season in his first two games. The Eagles held Cutler to an abysmal 41 passing yards and sacked him 4 times, this type of performance can not continue for the Bears to be successful this season. After two weeks Cutler has 262 Passing Yards 1 TD 0 INT. Hopefully he can bounce back from this poor performance as well as his Shoulder Tear that he sustained in Week 2.

On the other hand Jeremy Langford seems to be the bright spot for chicago with 225 yards on the ground with 3 TD's. If Langford can keep up this type of performance there is no reason the Bears can't utilize the play action pass in the future and feed off of Langford.

Overall the Bears defense is 23rd in the NFL. Just another spot for Chicago to improve on over the course of the season to try and reach their goal of making the Post Season. In order do so they need to be at least in the middle of the pack defensively to have a shot.
