The Chicago Tribune - A Glimpse of Light

Chicago may have lost their second game in a row this past week but there was a building point that came around in the 4th quarter. The offense finally started moving the ball and putting points on the board. Unfortunately it was too little too late as they fell to the Colts 19-14. Some say they could have won the game if David Fales hadn't thrown a costly interception in the end zone in the 1st quarter, but we aren't here to what if this performance. The biggest issue for Chicago was the offensive line did not show up to play on Sunday having Fales wind up on his back a grand total of 7 times. It's no wonder Jay Cutler was injured earlier in the season. Speaking of Jay Cutler he is expected to be back from injury in the near future and he without question has a better arm than David Fales. Contrary to what most critics think maybe Cutler can get this team turned around and head them in the right direction. Up next for Chicago is a tough opponent in the Jacksonville Jaguars. Hopefully Fales can keep the turnovers to a minimum and the offensive line can show up.
