***SUSPENSION*** Titans

The league has imposed the following sanctions on the Tennessee Titans:

• HB Darrell Jordan - suspended the final four games of the regular season (must be completely removed from the depth chart)
• QB Garrett Griffin - suspended for the next two regular season games (must be completely removed from the depth chart)

The sanctions were imposed after a league investigation which found the following:

• Overuse of the same formations (heavy use of two TE and 3 WR sets with minimal standard pro set formations)
• Lack of diversity in run plays (too many A gap runs and outside runs bounced inside)
• Running a non-realistic no huddle at the end of a game (running inside zones and HB screens during no huddle when trailing late)
• Putting starting HB in on 2nd and goal from 1 yard line to get the TD after backup HB had run to the 1. Had the appearance of stat-padding.
• Throwing three PA crossing routes on the same drive at the end of the half.

As always, this is just an informational post to disclose what sanctions were handed out and why so that others can be aware of things that they may be doing. We understand that life gets in the way and that sometimes a game(s) can get away from you. We will continue to police things evenly for every user so as to maintain a fair, competitive playing field for all. We expect this was a minor blip on the radar and do not expect any further issues in the future.
