Steelers 2018 VIP Season Preview

Starter
After a strong early season run last year, most of it without Antonio Brown and Big Ben, Steelers just miss the playoffs. Joshua Dobbs did a great job filling in for Ben, winning some key games while WR Bryant and Rodgers stretched the field for Bell to be productive. It all came down to to week 17, with a play in game .A sim win for the Titans eliminated the Steelers and left playoff hopes dashed.

Looking forward: While the spector of the reuvinated Browns weighs heavy on the division, Steelers hope to use thier talented offense to get the team back to division leadership.

The Good:
  • Healthy Starters (for now), 97 OVR Offense
  • Arguably, the best WR Foursome in the league (Brown, Bryant, JuJu, Rodgers) plus rookie Memphis standout, Anthony Miller
  • RB Bell.....’nough said
  • Speedy Dback Unit
  • LBs TJ Watt and Ryan Shazier, emerging Dupree
  • Upgraded Internet connection!!

The Bad:
Rumors flew in during the draft that Steelers owner, LostsniperLV was in hiding. Hiding from what, we may never know. Sources inside the organization have claimed ownership gave drafting power to the team owners young daughters. Again, we may never know the truth, but clearly, the Steelers could have done better in the draft. In addition, much of the off-season re-signings were missed leaving the roster woefully short of the 62 player requirement.

Steelers have some work to do this season and may look to trade some of thier strong WR’s core to make up for some weakness.

The Ugly:
Due to absentee ownership and some pre-season stat concerns, Steelers are on suspension for 4 weeks...25% of the season, 4 divided by 16 is 25%, 1/4th, a quarter.

Injuries:
  • In week 4 of preseason, Steelers lost back up QB, Joshua Dobbs for 5 weeks.
  • First round pick, DT Christian Wilkins also lost 5 weeks.
