I dont know how the Mets plan to content by trading a Cy Young contender, solid (yet older) SP and their closer for what amounts to one bat with an expensive contract. I'm not saying I'm voting against it. I just dont see the logic. If its a rebuild you wouldnt want Hafner. If you're trying to win, you dont trade Snell and the closer...

Kinda with Mike here, this looks like it decimates the Mets pitching staff. How would they look once these guys are gone? Are they really that stacked on pitching to give up 2 starters and their closer who appears to be a top 10 guy?

I vote no. Tried to justify it in my head, couldn't do it. Think Haffner is a great bat, just think the pieces the Mets are giving are too much.
