The team is in need of Line Backers, a Free Safety and Defensive Tackles. We only have one MLB on our roster and one DT. The draft doesn't show much promise at #5 for MLBs or Free Safetys (worth, earliy pick, ect) but options are better at the Patriot's #24 spot. The draft values for #5 and #24 are 1700 to 740. To offset that 1000 points the raiders are acquiring to young players rated 82 and 79 who were a 3rd rounder and s 33rd pick 1st rounder (wtf?). Based on the draft value chat that’s in the ball park.

On the surface, I see Harmon as a mid to late 2nd at best. So, if we give the high side of the points, he gets 400. I really like Brown as an 82 OVR and only 24 years old. But, in the last year of his contract, that hurts his value. For a team to drop from 5 to 24, I don't know if this is quite enough. I will hold my vote to get thoughts of the other members.

This is a lot closer than I thought the more I looked at it. If brown wasn’t in his last year I’d probably say yes easily. I think however this is pretty close in value and the Raiders get two starters. I’ll say yes.

I vote yes, its close enough, the Raiders should be able to sign Brown unless he asks for a 5 year deal

With the draft a little more than an hour away, I am going to agree with Pack and say no. I have felt all along that it just needs a little more to have the value for the #5 pick. See if you guys can amend this trade if you still want it done in time.
