Wildcard Playoff Matchups

NightHawkTH32 - Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens - CPU

The Ravens finished 11-4-1 to secure their 6th AFC North division title while the Steelers finished 9-6-1 to secure the #6 seed in the playoffs. The two teams split the season series with the road team winning each matchup. Defense will be the name of the game as both teams finished in the Top 4 in total defense in the AFC. The Ravens will be led by cornerbacks Ladarius Webb and Jimmy Smith who each had seven interceptions on the year. The Steelers, meanwhile, forced an astonishing 23 fumbles on the year led by Lawrence Timmons who had 3. While the average score between these two teams was 32-18 in the regular season, expect a much more defensive battle in this first round playoff matchup.

CPU - Washington Redskins at Chicago Bears - woodsmall12

The Bears narrowly edged out the Detroit Lions for their first division crown since 2010. Both teams finished 11-5 but the Monsters of the Midway won the title with a 5-1 division record. They will face a Redskins team that finished 10-6 even though they allowed the fourth most points in the conference with 371. Both teams were average offensively this year so the Redskins defense will be the unit to watch in this game. With the Bears playing at home and featuring the better defense, they should be expected to move on to the Divisional Round for the first time since 2010 as well.

CPU - Cincinnati Bengals at Indianapolis Colts - beeswarm

The Bengals were sandwiched in between the Ravens and Steelers in the AFC North at 10-6 while the Colts won the AFC South with an 1--5 record. The Colts featured the AFC's second-highest scoring offense and stingiest defense. Andrew Luck leads the way after throwing for 3,861 yards and posting a 98.0 QB Rating. Indy won the regular season meeting 17-12 at home but most expect this game to be far less competitive. The Colts should move on to the Divisional Playoffs for the second consecutive year.

CPU - Detroit Lions at Tampa Bay Buccaneers - CPU

This game features two CPU teams so who really cares :p
