The Carolina Panthers came into week 2 to face the Tennesse Titans, having had a good practice week, came into today's game in hopes of turning things around from week 1. The Titans clearly had a different stand point from the kick off!
D.Murray came into the game on showing that even though dallas let him go that he is going to still be a force in the league to be wrecon with as he breaks out in 1 quarter going for 6 Attempts @ 54 yards!
Cam Newton would come in continuing his first quarter heroics calculating a very good drive the field to get the Panthers on the board going 5 of 7 pass attempts for 62 yards, Tennessee however would come right back putting up 14 before the half. Carolina Panthers Woe's would continue however when they loss there starting running back in Jonathan Stewart with an abdominal tear and is expected to be out for 4 weeks at minimum & third string full back Devin Johnson with a Hamstring tear and he is expected to be out 5 weeks.
2 year Veteran Antonio Andrews would come in after the first quarter and just pure dominate the Carolina panthers defensive front. No matter what Panthers Schemes they threw at him he proved that he is a dominating power back taking on all comers who stands in his way. he would end up going a whopping 180 yards on 21 attempts for the game. After the game we caught up with coach Ron Rivera and he said there needs to be a since of urgency with us, we have it, we just need to pull it out, this is what preseason is for, to get your guys up to speed and to hopefully elevate our drive for the season!
