New York Yankees' Trade Block & Rumor Mill

Multiple, separate sources close to Yankees' front offices and ownership have spoken to P1XSports.com this week about the overall mood and atmosphere surrounding the clubhouse since new General Manager Hollan Davis has taken control of things off the field. Of the five to go on-record, three said that the Yankees lost out on every one of their big time free agent offers. That leads many to believe that Davis may in fact restructure the organization, especially at the Major League level.

It's hard to believe the Bombers would shift into a rebuild but based on one very close source to the new Yankees headman, he is not opposed to "burning the whole farm down by bringing in high-impact players." With most of the major Free Agents signed already, that would likely have to come via trade at this point. We do know, based on his comments at the introductory new conference, Davis has no plans to move any of his young stars unless it adds immediate hardware to the shelf. One name did come up recently - Mo Rivera - and was said to being 'shopped around.' The following players have been said to be the most available.

NOTE: ML OF has a logjam, gotta clear that up. I could use 2B, 1B, 3B and SP veterans to give us a chance to stay afloat. If you wish to inquire, come prepared, because Spencer, Lowell, and/or Rivera will require ONE HELL of an addition to this team to get a deal done.
