No team in the NFL had more question marks coming into this season than the Cleveland Browns. Who is Thomas Star? Can he turn this franchise around? Are the new uniforms really going to make a difference? Are the losing days over? Will they finally find a QB?

We are here to tell you that WEEK 1 of Browns football is in the books. The dark cloud that Cleveland fans are use to does not appear to be leaving anytime soon....

The Browns along with the Tennessee Titans shook the entire NFL Landscape this week as they finalized a deal which sent Tashuan Gipson to Tennesse in exchange for Jalston Fowler, a 4th round pick, and second year QB Zach Mettenberger.

Zach (like all Cleveland QB's of the past) was thrown to the wolves this week. After a lackluster pre-season from Johnny Manziel, the Browns went with the decision to start Mettenberger this week not even a week after trading for him. No one could learn an offense that fast.

Zach looked great at times. Completing 23 of 37 passes (62%) and Tallying up a total of 303 yards with 2 TD's, though his 3 interceptions were the difference in this ball game.

Look for him to become more comfortable each week as he settles in and learns the offense. Next week he plays against a defense he knows very well. The team that gave up on him. The team that kicked him to the curb. Mettenberger will have some extra motivation this week as he takes on the Titans.

Another question we were given the answer too was the opening at the running back position. Coach Mike Pettine made it very clear that the job would not be given to anyone it would be earned.

Nobody wanted to step up to the plate. Nobody wanted to solidify their name. Nobody until Thomas Starr did what nobody wanted to do. Give Ray Rice a second chance. After sitting out a entire year after a domestic dispute Ray Rice turned heads the first day he stepped foot out on the practice filed.

Easily winning the job Ray Rice has shown he's BACK and he's better than ever. Revenge on his mind? You betcha. We got to see first glimpse this past week as he carried the ball 16 times for 75 yards. Easily was on his way to 100 yards. The Browns fell behind and went into panic mode. Rice did not receive a carry in the 4th quarter. Don't look for that too happen ever again...

Josh "Flash" Gordon. Already turning heads and putting every secondary in the NFL on notice. 9 receptions for 112 yards this week. Making his claim as the best receiver in the NFL. Went down with an ankle injury early on but did return. When asked about the injury Flash responded with "Going to take more than that to keep me down..." Flash has made a statement early on. Looking for that career year this coming season.

After trading Tashaun Gipson away the Browns secondary was exposed this week. Ryan Fitzpatrick had a field day. Donte Whitner seemed to be the only in the secondary to show up this week. He is going to need some help from the younger guys around him or it's going to be a very long year for the Browns.

The Browns will be at home in Week 2 as they take on the Tennessee Titans. Can they bounce back? Are the Browns of old gone? Only time will tell.
