trying to resign Shaw Mason, he asked for 5 years, I only offered him 4 years (because that’s what’s allowed) I even offered him more bonus and salary in the 4 year deal than he wanted in 5 years on an annual basis. He still told me no. I don’t want to lose my 25 year old guard. What do I do next negotiation... as it will be my final time to persuade him to take my offer.

Or franchise him. The whole point of the 4-year limit is to promote an active free agency. If it was easy to re-sign everyone then free agency would be pointless.
