Miami Welcomes HB Devonta Freeman

A deal has been struck between the Falcons and the Dolphins that send running back Devonta Freeman back to Florida. This time though instead of going to his stomping grounds of Tallahassee, he will be heading to Miami. In exchange the Dolphins are sending running back Branden Oliver.

Sources close to the matter say that both team officials were not happy with the underperformance of their players and change was just a mater of time. "Oliver is a great running back with good upside, however the new scheme was not a good fit for him. We are looking forward to seeing Freeman in pads and how he handles our system" said Coach Ozone.

Freeman had 207 carries for 807 yards (3.9 avg) in 2015, but he quickly got a back seat to HB Colman after a dissapointing 1.2 yards avg in 9 carries this season.

Freeman will be part of the Hillman, Polk "running back by committee" group and expected to see his fair set of carries as early as next advance.
