Pirates approve. We desperately need bullpen help as I said earlier and Doolittle is a stud. Lieberthal will be taking napoli's place as backup catcher, mostly to offset the cap. Napoli is a franchise starting catcher, he's very good, but being wasted behind buster posey right now, so in his contract year the pirates are trying to get some value from him. he will be a star for the mariners who have horrible catchers at the moment, and doolitle will greatly help the Pirates bullpen struggles.
