Following a brief Madden 16 Cover Vote contest, EA Sports unveiled Odell Beckham, Jr. as the cover athlete for Madden NFL 16.

Madden 16 Deluxe Edition
Madden NFL 16 will feature a limited "Deluxe Edition" version of the game. Purchasers of the deluxe edition of Madden 16 will get three Madden Ultimate Team Pro Packs each week for 12 weeks (36 packs total) as well as a special Playmaker Pack. The Madden 16 Deluxe Edition will retail for $69.99.

Madden 16 Gameplay Deep Dive
The guys at EA released an in-depth look at Madden 16 gameplay in their three-part Gameplay Deep Dive series. The changes and improvements are extensive. One of the most requested is an improvement in penalties. The entire penalty system was reworked to reflect realistic NFL penalty frequency. Madden 16 is going to feature a new mode for users called Draft Champions. The new mode will look and feel similar to Madden Ultimate Team in many ways but will focus on drafting a team fantasy football style. The idea is to build a team through a fantasy draft and compete with them in solo or or head-to-head games with the intent of winning a championship. The draft will be varied so players can go through the mode over and over and get a unique experience each and every time.
