We've already seen members of the 2016 draft class rise as some of the faces of today's NFL. Max Jeter is one of the brightest stars in the game today, and lead the Bears on an 18-0 march to the Super Bowl. We see the seeds of the team that topped the Bears in Super Bowl LII planted here, with three Raiders ranking in the top 15. Los Angeles is the only team with more than one representative on this list.

There was plenty of value throughout the draft, but 7 of the top 15 were selected in the first round, highlighted by quarterbacks Jeter and Aerion Hunter. Interestingly enough, the top pick in quarterback Eric Hill is not listed here. To be fair, he missed much of his sophomore campaign to injury.

One of the biggest controversies in the 2016 draft was the Titans using a first round pick on Darrell Jordan to replace Bishop Sankey, who was one of the league's rushing leaders in 2015. The Titans appeared to make the right move as Jordan falls in the top 15 and has been extremely productive for Tennessee, but it's interesting to see Javia Locke a spot above considering that the Pats named him in the sixth round.

Another highlight of the draft was the Browns passing on Evonte Patrick in the fourth round. Their selection was a LB who's no longer on the team. Patrick won WR of the Year in 2017 for Los Angeles.

Biggest Steals (Round 3 or Later)

Mario Galvin (92 ovr DT, Seahawks): Round 4, Pick 28
Drew Bell (91 ovr RG, Falcons): Round 3, Pick 6
Javia Locke (88 ovr HB, Patriots): Round 6, Pick 17
Brenden Rucker (87 ovr RG, Raiders): Round 3, Pick 18
Evonte Patrick (87 ovr WR, Raiders): Round 4, Pick 20
Mike Lindsay (86 ovr ROLB, Titans): Round 3, Pick 21
Kadeem Dixon (84 ovr HB, Titans): Round 4, Pick 21

Griffin Finley (84 ovr RG, Broncos): Round 3, Pick 1
Aundre Frazier (83 ovr HB, Chargers): Round 3, Pick 24
Brady Jordan (82 ovr DT, Bengals): Round 3, Pick 26

Four of the top 15 players could be considered top 10 steals, being drafted in the third round or later. This includes the Raiders duo of Patrick and Rucker, another guard in Drew Bell, and Seattle DT Mario Galvin.

Coming into the draft the Titans boasted their ability to scout talent. They backed up their talk by draft two of the bigger steals in the draft, albeit selecting Dixon as a backup running back to their top 15 selection in Jordan.

The class of 2017 is perhaps even stronger than its predecessor, with six players already at or above 87 overall, which could place them in the top 15 of the 2016 class rankings. This class features a pair of stud defenders in the AFC West at the top in Rivera and Gordon. The Raiders nearly took Rivera with their selection in the second round, but instead took running back Lunior Haynes. Lu did win AFC rookie of the year, but there has to be some regret in not nabbing the top two talents.

It seems as if the cream rose to the top for this class, especially when considering draft order. Only one of the top 14 was picked in the third round or later, compared to five the year before.

The Bills had an exceptional showing in the draft, landing top 15 standouts in Motes and Priester despite picked at the end of the second and third rounds.
