Definition of Roles
Commissioner: The "Commish" is the leader of the league. They are responsible for setting up the league in game, advancing weeks, adding or removing users (if needed), and adjusting sliders (also if needed). The Commish also has final say on all league related matters. Any questions, comments or concerns should be directed to the league commissioner.
Deputy Commissioner: The Deputy Commish will assist the Commissioner with handling league matters. Those duties include helping to make league related rulings, handling in game advancements, adding or subtracting members or slider adjustments in the event that the Commish is unable to do so. In the event that the Commish is away (due to vacation, illness, etc) the Deputy Commish will lead the league.
League President: The League Presidents will assist the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner in making league related decisions. They are also responsible for making sure games in their league get scheduled and will help to monitor gameplay within their leagues. League Presidents will also help with generating league content and are available to help answer any league related questions should the Commish or Deputy Commish not be immediately available.
Trade Committee: The Trade Committee will be responsible for approving all league related trades. They will also be responsible for making sure league transaction rules are being followed (trades, waivers and free agent signings). When submitting a trade pursuant to the League Guidelines, you must send a single PM and include each member of the Trade Committee in it. The Committee will then vote to approve or deny the trade. All decisions made by the Trade Committee are final. The Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner are not able to override any decisions made by the Trade Committee.
Submitting Questions, Comments or Complaints
In the event that you have a complaint, question or comments about the league (or league member), you should submit that to the Commissioner via PM. The Commish will have final say on all league related matters (excluding Trade Committee votes). The Deputy Commish and League Presidents can provide guidance but should not be go to points for league communication (that should go to the Commish). Please keep in mind when submitting a PM to the Commish or asking questions on the forum that each of these users have lives outside of the league and may not be able to respond/address your question immediately. Please be patient in receiving a response.
League Emergencies
In the event of a league emergency, you should submit a PM and include the Commish, Deputy Commish and both League Presidents. One of those members will be able to get ahold of the Commissh or Deputy Commish to handle the issue.
A league emergency is defined as a situation that poses an immediate threat to the league or that requires immediate action. Those situations may include (the league crashing in game, the league file being corrupted (preventing users from playing), the forum crashing or Twitch being unavailable to stream games. Any other situation is likely not an "emergency." Please use your best judgement when deciding how to address a league issues.
