The Miami Dolphins welcome new owner Billy Carter aboard and word's out that he is not happy with the start the team has had, but he is excited to see how the season ends. It has been said that he will take the rest of the season to get a good look at the roster and make changes accordingly. According to Carter the Dolphins have talent, but he envisions changes will be made in the offseason. Carter will get his first look at his team this week as the Dolphins take on their division rivals in the New York Jets.

The Dolphins travelled to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Jets this week. As soon as the players got off the bus one could feel the buzz of excitement. Despite the slow start the Dolphins players were excited about their new owner, and couldn't wait to play for him. In my opinion the players of the game was Christine Micheal and the entire defensive unit. Late in the game Micheal was able to break lose through the middle of the defense and take it to the house on a 40 yd run. That was the nail in the coffin as the Dolphins went on to win 21-6.

The defense played really well only giving up two field goals, and bent at times but didn't break. The turning points in the game had to be the two picks thrown by Nolan Harris. Harris had the team in the red zone both times he threw a pick. On one the picks the game should have stopped for interference as a child streaked in front of Harris, causing him to throw the pick.

Carter was very excited after his first game as owner of the Dolphins, and he looks forward to rivalries and many more games to come.
