As per new rules the Falcons would like to make the corresponding moves to abide by the new said rules.
The Falcons are requesting to move OLB Vic Beasley to DE and to move DE Brooks Reed to OLB.
Both of these players have played DE and OLB respectively but Vic Beasley is a pash rusher not a LB to set the edge. Not to mention Beasley has zero coverage skills. Reed is not much better in coverage but he is better and he is a better tackler. I like LBs who can tackle better. So these moves are a better fit for the scheme I would like to run in Atlanta.
Both are virtually the same size Beasley is 6'3 246 lbs and Reed is 6'3 254 lbs
