The official EA Access Twitter account announced today that those who bought EA Access to play Madden 15 early will be limited to just six hours of gameplay. Most people assumed that the new EA Access feature would work like EA's old Season Ticket subscription. The Season Ticket gave you unlimited play of the full version of the game from the Friday before release until the official release the following Tuesday. Unfortunately, those that paid the $5 monthly (or $30 prepaid option) will be limited to just six hours worth of gameplay during that four day period.

This looks like just another in a long line of questionable marketing tactics by EA. EA was recently ranked as the Worst Company in America two years running. They had just dropped off of that list but now drop this on their customers. It seems that no matter how much goodwill EA creates, they always find a way to slap their customers and take it all away.

So what do you think of EA's latest marketing ploy? Does this affect your decision to buy EA Access, Madden 15 or any other EA game?
