All World Catcher Mike Piazza has decided to cease communication with Dodger front office personnel which ultimately means his time in LA is just about up - Dodgers are looking to add some left handed pop to the lineup that they have coveted for years now - San Francisco is looking to move Johnny Damon in order to land the services of Piazza and the hopes that he will sign a long term extension to stay in the Bay Area - San Francisco is in desperate need of a Catcher as both current catchers are hitting below .200 with no prospects in the system above a one star - The Dodgers have also added 2B Eddie Rios to ensure a prospect can be groomed even if Piazza does not resign - Rios adds depth in the minor league system and will be the highest rated 2B prospect in the Giants minor league system as they have no other 2B above a one star
