With the Tigers already making some moves for their future, another deal has been proposed between Detroit and Oakland.
By moving Clark, Detroit free's up a little budget space for this year and a sizable amount next season. The dropoff from Clark to Sosa is steep, but getting Santiago as a future middle infielder makes up for it. Adding Perez gives Oakland a backup SS who can play now and help get this season on track for the Athletics.

Tony Clark - LF/CF - 29 - 6.25M + 7.5 projected ARB next season.
Neifi Perez - SS - 28 - 415k + 500k projected ARB next season
Detroit Gets:
Sammy Sosa - 32 - RF - 3.6m then FA
Ramon Santiago - 21 - SS - Milb
