The Cleveland Browns welcomed the Denver Broncos into town this week. Peyton Manning remained perfect against the Browns in his career as Denver got the victory here 24-20. Heartbreaking loss for Cleveland as they fall to 3-3 on the year.
*Box score for the week 6 match up*
Josh Gordon got behind the defense yet again this week. He has been on a tear this year making sure defenses recognize he's arguably the best wide receiver in the game today. As we get farther into the season and the Browns get desperate look with his targets and numbers to increase.
After trading away Tashaun Gipson before the season started the Browns were between a rock and a hard place. They needed to find someone to fill his place and fill it quick. In comes Gerod Holliman. The rookie out of Louisville has continued to show week in and week out that he's for real. He has superstar potential and currently leads the Browns in tackles. He's all over the field. An engine that doesn't stop. We are pretty sure the FS void has been filled.
The play that set the tone early and gave the Browns the lead. K'waun Williams came up with the pick 6 early in the first quarter. Quite possibly the defensive play of the year thus far.
*Quick Stats*
Zach Mettenberger 11-18 166 yds 1 TD
Ray Rice 14 att 46 yds
Josh Gordon 4 rec 76 yds 1 td
Rob Housler 3 rec 42 yds
Dwayne Bowe 1 rec 20 yds
Brian Hartline 1 rec 20 yds
Gerod Holliman 11 tackles

The Browns will be on the road for their week 6 match up against the Rams. They look to bounce back from a few mediocre performances. Cleveland heads in with a 3-3 record while St. Louis sit at 2-3. Must win for both teams. Week 7 is gonna be interesting.
