This late in the season you have to win the close one's. You cannot allow them to slip away. That's exactly what the Browns did this week against the visiting San Francisco 49ers. Falling behind early 21-12 the Browns did not give up. They allowed 0 second half points and walked out the victors 26-21.

The first half of this game Zach Mettenberger despite playing well was completely out dueled. The injury bug has hit the 49ers harder than any other team in the league this season. Josh Johnson got the start completing his first 12 passes for 200 yds and 2 tds. However Mettenberger was able to finish stronger than Johnson and ultimately win the game. Completing 12 of 16 passes for 247 yds and 2 tds Zach showed no signs of being injured this week. These next 3 games are critical. We need a healthy QB.
Ray Rice after a rough outing last week bounced back in a big way this week. Getting 25 carries this week he showed what happens when you trust him with the Rock. 25 carries for 106 yds and a td. Rice is the factor to them making the playoffs. The team plays just as strong as he does. The coaching staff just needs to trust him.
Josh Gordon did something special this week. He eclipsed the 1,000 yard mark on the season. We caught up with an emotional Gordon after the game. "I have eclipsed 1,000 yards before but this season means the most. I didn't give up on myself. The team didn't give up on me. The coaches didn't the fans didn't. They stood by me helped me defeat my demons. This is for them." Gordon looks to be better than ever, more focused than ever. Bringing a championship to this city means everything to him.

Probably the hardest game on the schedule for the Browns. The Browns travel out to the 12th man to take on the championship caliber Seattle Seahawks, lead by Richard Sherman and the legion of boom. Can the Browns conquer the 12th man? Can Mettenberger expose the LOB? Can the Browns continue their winning ways? It's not gonna be easy we will tell you that. "That's okay. A great man once said.
