Game of the Week. Cleveland Browns vs Pittsburgh Steelers.
The game of the week sure as hell lived up to the hype that surrounded it for a week. The Cleveland Browns took the undefeated Steelers to their limit. When great teams are backed into a corner they fight, scratch and crawl their way out. That's exactly what Pittsburgh did this week. Down 29-27 with 16 seconds left the somehow managed to get in FG range and kick a FG as time expired.
A back and forth game the entire day. Cleveland wouldn't die and Pittsburgh wouldn't die. Neither team wanted to lose. Both teams brought it. The best game so far this season. Quite possibly a game of the year candidate.
It looks as if this rivalry has been revived. They are slated to meet Week 17 and could very likely see each other in the playoffs.
A great time to be a fan of this great sport!
The Browns front office before the season started made a move for Zach Mettenberger that turned a lot of heads. A lot of experts did not think this trade would benefit Cleveland in any way.
Zach has shown he has every tool to be the FRANCHISE Quarterback that the Browns have been missing for nearly two decades. Rejoice Browns fans. You have found your guy.
December 8th 2013. That was the last time Dwayne Bowe found himself celebrating after a touchdown. Nearly two years has gone by since that moment. This week Dwayne Bowe streak ended. He found himself in the endzone this week in what was an emotional moment for him.
"I have sat up many times at night thinking I don't have it anymore. It felt good to not only prove to the fans but to myself that I do indeed still have it." -Dwayne Bowe-
Breaking News out of Cleveland this Week. The Browns and WR Josh Gordon have agreed to a 4 year 30 million dollar contract extension.
Nearly a week after signing the bottom line Flash had his best game of the season against Pittsburgh.
"This is the team that gave me a chance. This is the team that has stood by me in my troubled times. This is the team that has never given up on me. This is where my heart is." -Josh Gordon on his contract extension-
2 redzone trips for Pittsburgh this week started with them trying Joe Haden. Both drives ended with the ball headed in the other direction.
Joe got his 5th and 6th int's of the season. Joe ties his rookie season with his 6th int. Looking to be a career year for Joe.
