A Change in Ownership:
It's official. RJRipley has purchased the Chicago Bears. Many question why someone would spend so much time and money on a team that has seen one playoff win in the last ten years. RJRipley has grown up a huge Chicago Bears fan his entire life and throughout these past few seasons, has become fed up with how the organization had been handling the team. So he decided to take matters into his own hands.

The new owner on the state of his team and his team's goals for the first season:
RJRipley in a recent interview discussed the state of the team and claimed that Coach John Fox has the team headed in the right direction, he just needs a few more pieces to work with. Mr. Ripley said that revamping the offense line is the number one priority coming out of the gate. With many veterans from last year such as Jermon Bushrod, Matt Slauson, and Will Montgomery gone, Ripley plans on finding a good mix of young potential and veteran talent for his offensive line.

Mr. Ripley also expressed interest in upgrading his defensive back depth but how he plans to do so remains to be seen. Uniting behind Jay Cutler is something he strongly believes in as Cutler can efficiently deliver the rock to the offensive weapons of the team such as Jeffery and Kevin White. Cutler will be the starter on day one and he has no interest in upgrading that position any time soon.

Mr. Ripley is very optimistic for the upcoming season as he sense that many teams are "sleeping on the Mosters of the Midway," and the potential they have going into the future. Keep an eye out for Chicago this season, as they could be the surprise of the league. Bear Down.

Fun Fact About the Chicago Bears:
The Chicago Bears as a franchise have the most wins, best win percentage, and most games played of any team in the NFL. The Bears also lead the rivalry with the packers with a record of
94-92-6, a gap they plan on widening this upcoming season.
