News coming out of Halas Hall today has the Bears trading RE Julius Peppers & LG Edwin Williams to the St. Louis Rams for their 13th pick in the 1st round of 2014. With a new Owner and a new GM, the thought process is to start fresh and get young on both sides of the ball. Peppers, 33, has slowly been on the decline and has yet to play up to his contract. Phil Emery is excited to put his scout team to working looking for the next Peppers or Urlacher type player.
