Chargers: Jacoby does it again

As we prepare for the last couple of games the Bolts find themselves in a familiar territory. 6 – 8 in the AFC West. They are out of the playoffs and playing to prove they’re not as bad as others think.

And I agree. They aren’t as bad as I think, but they are as bad as they’re mistakes show. They must improve.

The last game against Miami gave us some confidence for next season. Kellen Clemens stepped in after Rivers took an ill-advised sack and will miss at least 4 games. Clemens went 14 for 21 with 2TD and 1 INT and a 108 QB rating. Respectable.

The best part of Clemens performance is that with 4 mins left in 4QTR and down 14 points he calmly drove the field twice and tied the game with a slant to Keenan Allen as time expires to send the game to OT.

Both Clemens and Allen, give us Charger fans hope that the young talent can lead the Bolts to the playoffs next year.

Oh yeah, in OT Jacoby Jones takes the opening Kickoff 100 yards for a walk off Touchdown! What a game to watch. If you missed it, check it out here: http://www.twitch.tv/lyric4christ/v/20609118

Chargers have Raiders up next, a team they beat 17 – 28 at their last encounter in Week 7. But without Rivers, we’ll see you at the game.

Then the Broncos. Some might say the Broncos are one of the hottest teams in the league right now. The Chargers played them well two weeks ago in Week 13, losing 28 – 31. Last game of the season. Let’s go Bolts!

Post Season:

As the Bolts prepare for the post season we expect to look forward to the re-signing of some key players like Antonio Gates, Malcom Floyd and their best linebacker ROLB Melvin Ingram (28 Tkl, 3 Sacks, 2 INT).
