Cardinals are moving RF Johnny Damon in return for 2 depth guys , With Ender being called up to play CF and Skip back from the DL to play LF and Barnes coming back to play RF, there was no room for Damon, and the Pirates get a solid if not starting RF for there divison push

Pirates accept. Damon is a proven veteran outfield and we need to load up on our playoff run where our team is lacking great offense. Damon brings a good bat and excellent fielding for us. Sowers is a tough prospect to part with, but the Pirates are all in on this playoff push
