Approved - this allows the giants to get space for rookies and makes sense both ways due to STL having oodles of space and getting a solid player in Damon

I vote no. All of the players SF is getting back are over the hill and under developed. I know the Giants are trying to clear cap space, but they should be able to get a better return than that

I am going to vote yes. I think the Giants getting rid of contracts is a good thing and they will have to depart with a good solid player to do so.

Getting rid of bad contracts for nothing is one thing. Getting rid of good players on reasonable contracts is completely different

its close.... i would like to say yes to help out both teams but after looking it over i think i agree with Mike on this one... Damon is a very nice young player signed for 3 more seasons at a borderline discounted rate for his production... SF should look to get at least some young talent back in return for a player of Damons talent level... So i vote No
