Welcome Buffalo fans,

The first 2 weeks of competition are in the books and our beloved Bills are 1-1. Let's look at a recap of both games:

Week 1: Bills 7 - 25 Ravens
Buffalo had huge issues in the passing department at the opener. Wide receivers could not be found open more than 3 yards passed the line of scrimmage. Tyrod Taylor had a game to forget (12-26 for 131 yds, 4 INTS, and 2 Fumbles luckily recovered by the offense). The running game was also far from acceptable. LeSean McCoy averaged 1.1 yds on 12 carries an one lost fumble. This performance from Shady forced the aerial game early in the game. Ravens' new acquired Aaron Colvin picked Taylor 3 times including one for a TD. Colvin was named player of the game.

Although there were countless negatives on offense, the Bills' defense held strong and only allowed a total ofoffensive 223 yds. 5 year veteran Sterling Moore stepped up big time on the game picking Flacco and returning it all the way to the Ravens 3 yard line. The running game was well covered by the defense until the 4th quarter. "Our defense was ready for today and showed it", commented Rex Ryan. "Allowing a team to 25 points when it should have been 50 points is a victory that only one side can celebrate."

"Turnovers and missed field goals killed us" said owner Shao Khan. "We are still young team and the only way to learn is through mistakes and overcoming them."

Week 2: Bills 31 - 7 Jets
Do not look too far into the numbers on this one. The Bills' defense paved the way for the offense to succeed. Bills started off 1-0 on the division without any injuries.

Tyrod Taylor played a more conservative game completing 10 of 13 passes for 181 yards with 1 TD and 1INT (during the first drive). Although LeSean McCoy's numbers were not impressive on the ground (18 carries for 49 yards with one TD), he caught a screen pass for 74 yards that allowed the Bills to distance from the Jets. "The message for the offense was to play to win, not to allow mental mistakes." Stated Rex Ryan to the press. "...playing like this will allow our team to stay balanced and prevent injuries."

On defense, Zach Brown picked off Fitzpatrick on the flat and returned it all the way the house late in the second quarter. This was one of the 5 picks Fitzpatrick threw on the Thursday night matchup. FS Corey Graham was named player of the game with 2INTS and 9 tackles. "The defense set the tone of the game" said owner Shao Khan. "With players like Brown, Darby, Graham, I don't see many offenses being successful."

The Bills expect to receive 0-1 Cardinals on week 3 that are in need of a bounce back after losing to New England 42-3. Coach Ryan expects much more participation from the receiving corps on this one.
