Bridgewater beats Flacco's Ravens

You don't see too many teams turn away from their starting quarterback after he leads them to a 6-0 start but that is exactly what Minnesota did. Surprisingly, the Vikings didn't miss a beat and looked much more fluid on offense as they handled the Ravens 31-7. This was Teddy Bridgewater's first game back from a devastating leg injury last year during training camp. With the exception of one bad read, he looked fantastic going 16-26 for 238 yards, 2 TD and 1 INT as he used the whole field and saw 8 different receivers get a reception. Yet again, Dalvin Cook led the way with 18 touches for 166 yards and a 2 TD.

Despite sitting Danielle Hunter and Everson Griffen for unconfirmed team violations, the defense was relentless picking off 3 passes and shutting the Raven's offense down the entire game. The lone score was a busted coverage that resulted in a 79 yard TD. Sharif Floyd and Brian Robison filled in nicely as they combined for 5 sacks and consistently flushed Flacco out of the pocket.

Up next for the 7-0 Vikings is the much anticipated match up against the red hot Cleveland Browns. Coming in at 6-1, the Browns have pounded people into submission on the ground behind what looks to be the best offensive line in the league right now. They've made the human dump truck Isaiah Crowell look like an all pro, averaging 7 yards per carry. Both teams are run oriented on offense and this game will undoubtedly be decided in the trenches as the Viking's strength lines up against the Brown's bread and butter. Look for the winner of that match up to "run away" with the victory.
