Tulane wins BIG 12 championship!!!!!!
This game was back and forth the whole way. The Green wave took the early lead 3-0 in the first. They continued back and forth with in the second but Tulane's Badie was able to sneak in a TD in the second. the score at the half was 13-3 Tulane, but the game was a lot closer then the score. Oklahoma dominated the third holding Tulane to only 20 yards of offense while the would put a drive together to get a field goal and get within 7. Tulane however had another plan in mind as they fought extremely hard and scored a TD to go up 20-6 and almost secure the win. On the second play of Oklahoma next drive Jr MLB Davis gets a pick 6 and secures the victory 27-6. This is the first Big 12 championship and only the second conference championship for the program. Tulane will unload and rebuild as 15 starting seniors will be leaving this season. They will be replaced by almost equal talent but a lot younger squad. 1 JR 4 (RS) SO and 10 (RS) FR will take their place next season. Now thhey wait to see who they will play in a BCS bowl!
