GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN - Thanksgiving Day, a time for giving thanks, and having a good time with our loved ones. That was not the case tonight, as the oldest rivalry in football took place. The Chicago Bears (6-4) traveled to Lambeau Field to play the Green Bay Packers(3-6-1). With the Packers being the home team, majority of the experts have selected them to win this game, despite their struggles this season. They defeated the Bears earlier this season 34-3 in Chicago. The Bears, however, are looking for revenge, as they are on the midst of a 3 game winning streak. The Bears are also not trying to allow their rivalry to be tied as it is 93-92-6 Chicago.

The Bears first drive of the game was a positive not for them. They started running the ball with Matt Forte, and then began to unleash their passing game. Cutler completed 3 big passes of 15 or more yards to 3 different receivers on their opening drive. He connected with Kevin White for 15 yards, then Alshon Jeffery for 27 yards and a pass to Marques Wilson for 21 yards. After Wilson's catch it put the bears at Green Bay's 3 yard line, where Matt Forte ran on a toss for a touchdown. Bears lead 7-0 early. The Packers were not to go away easy as Eddie Lacy ripped some big runs and two big passes of 15+ yardage from Aaron Rodgers to Randall Cobb setup a touchdown pass to Randall Cobb from the 6 yard line.

Beginning of the second quarter, the Bears offense was doing its job once again. 2 Completions to Eddie Royal put the Bears in the redzone. But on a pass intended for Alshon Jeffery, Cutler throws inaccurately and is intercepted by Safety Micah Hyde. Packers take advantage of the turnover and march right down the field for a 2 yard touchdown run from Eddie Lacy. The Bears not going quietly, began to attack the Packers feeble secondary.A couple passes to Eddie Royal and Alshon Jeffery put the Bears at the 33 yard line. Bears go back 2 yards and have to settle for a 52 yard field goal from Robbie Gould who has been superb all year. Green Bay goes into their 2 minute offense, and the Bears get aggressive and rookie Safety Anthony Jefferson intercepts Aaron Rodgers and the Bears take over. On 3rd down and 10, Cutler connects deep down the field with Alshon Jeffery for a 30 yard gain as he climbed the ladder over 2 defenders and sets them up at Green Bay's 40. The drive ends when another inaccurate pass from Jay Cutler goes into the hands of Micah Hyde for his 2nd pick of the game.

The Bears receive the ball after halftime and they come out hot. Cutler improvises for a 12 yard scramble, then connects with Kevin White for a 12 yard completion. Matt Forte gets involved as well, as he spins out of a three man tackle and takes it 36 yards for a touchdown giving the Bears a 17-14 lead. Packers march down the field with a big play from tight end Richard Rodgers. The next play Aaron Rodgers does not see the Safety and throws an interception in the endzone for his 2nd int of the day. The Bears go and score again as Cutler launches a deep pass to Kevin White as he burns past the cornerback. Green Bay reponds and cut the lead back to 3, 24-21. Bears proving they cannot be stopped on offense, keep up the attack and put the game out of reach with another touchdown pass to Kevin White, his second of the day. Bears lead 31-21. Green Bay's next drive is a field goal and the lead is cut back to 7, 31-24. A failed onside kick ended the game as the Bears handed the ball to Matt Forte for a couple 1st downs. Bears win and keep the streak alive. 31-24 Final. BEAR DOWN!
