CHICAGO, ILLINOIS - The Mile High City Denver Broncos traveled to the Windy City to take on the Chicago Bears. Bears displayed their Monsters of the Midway jersey's for the second time of the season and they will wear them one more time. The game couldn't have started more perfectly for the Bears. Jay Cutler connected with wide receiver Alshon Jeffery on the first play from scrimmage for a 73 yard touchdown, as Jeffery beat cornerback Chris Harris Jr.

The Denver Broncos first play was a completion to tight end Owen Daniels, who was then hit by middle linebacker Shea McClellin who forced a fumble and was recovered by the Bears. Bears took advantage of the great field position at the Broncos 26 yard line. The Bears then go 5 plays to score on a Matt Forte touchdown run from 1 yard out. The first quarter was all Bears as they led 14-0 at the end of the quarter and were driving to begin the second. Bears Defense also did not give up a 1st down in the three possessions the Broncos had. Forcing a fumble, a three and out and an interception.

Beginning of the second quarter the Bears got a big lift from the passing game as Cutler connected with Eddie Royal for a 20 yard completion which setup Martellus Bennett for a 4 yard touchdown. Broncos do score on there next possession as the Bears defense looked to have busted coverage on the play, as Peyton Manning connected with Cody Latimer for a touchdown. The Bears were unable to answer and the Broncos came back cutting the lead to 7 near the end of the half with Peyton Manning throwing to his number one receiver Demaryius Thomas for a touchdown on 3rd and 15.

With less than 2 minutes to go in the first half Jay Cutler connected with standout rookie Kevin White and went for a big gain to start their 2 minute offense, going for 28 yards. The Bears then had 2 holding penalties back to back setting up a 1st down and 30. Bears looked as if they go into halftime with the score 21-14, as they tried to get some yards back by giving it to Matt Forte after an incomplete pass. But on 3rd and 27, Cutler connects with Kevin White for a big 1st down, inside Denver territory at their 27 yard line. Bears eventually score as Matt Forte runs in for his second touchdown. Bears go up 28-14 entering half time.

The 2nd half begins in the Bears favor again. A 3 and out for the defense, and on the first play, a 63 yard Jay Cutler touchdown pass to Kevin White, his 9th of the season and Cutler's 23rd of the season. Entering the 4th, Bears hold the Broncos again and drive to kick a 42 yard field goal by Robbie Gould to extend their lead 38-14. On the kickoff, Jon Bostic flies down the field and hammers Andre Caldwell who fumbles and is recovered by the Bears. Once again the Bears take advantage of great field position, and score with Jay Cutler getting a QB sneak after a 17 yard completion to Martellus Bennett. Broncos do score garbage points a couple drives later as Peyton threw to Cody Latimer again for his second touchdown. That touchdown was the last score of the game. Bears win again and hang on to a playoff spot 45-21. Bears are now 6-4 on the year. BEAR DOWN!
