It’s been tough sledding this year for the Jax Jags - Rookie speed bumps, numerous injuries, and qb issues have really plagued what initially were high hopes behind a star studded defense that was expected to lead the team to the playoffs
Lately Bortles has been regressing in his development - Ownership is tempted to give Henne a last minute audition as they head into wk 16 ... the plan is that only one of those qbs will be back next year so these last two wks will be important for Bortles and Henne’s job security
A new trainer is in order in hopes of keeping the Team healthy - a new training schedule will be delivered to each team member once the season concludes
The playbook will also get a much needed overhaul - the team will need to add some new looks out of multiple formations - this will help the power run game led by rookie Leonard Fournette who has developed faster than most thought he would - A different offensive scheme should give the offense a much needed jolt
As the season winds down we look forward to the future ... look for some youngsters to get extended playing these last few weeks, solidify a roster spot, as tough decisions are on the horizon
