As we anticipate the start of the upcoming PX1 Sports season, our correspondent Johnny BoBo visited Orchard Park to break down the Buffalo Bills defense.

Defensive Line

The backbone of the Bills defense looks to bolster the team's new attacking 4-3. Stout DT's Marcell Dareus and Kyle Williams should prove to be stout against the run this season.
2016 first round pick, DE Shaq Lawson appears to be ready for a breakout season. A strong preseason points towards a steady campaign for this emerging talent. Seven year pro Jerry Hughes mans the other end position. With Lawson and Hughes the Bills have the makings of a special pass rush.

Linebackers

The Bills linebacker core has shown signs of an up and coming unit. Strong against the run with good awareness provides the glue for Buffalo's front seven.
Lorenzo Alexander and Preston Brown return along with free agent acquisition Gerald Hodges.
Hodges three down capability is much needed for a unit lacking pass coverage.

Defensive Backs

Buffalo's recent trade of CB Ronald Darby leaves the Bills pass defense in a precarious position. With 2017 first round pick Tre'Davious White being the most talented player in the secondary, this group looks to be in for a long season. E.J. Gaines heads out of training camp as the second starting corner. Bills coaches indicated Gaines has been a quick study to the new scheme and looks to be good fit for coach Mackdaddy.
Free agent acquisition Micah Hyde looks to provide veteran leadership to an otherwise inexperienced back end.
