The Chiefs are coming off of a roller coaster season that saw them finish 9-7 and miss the playoffs for the third time in the last four years. Last season was highlighted by a 41014 win over eventual Super Bowl champion New England and a 26-10 loss to Tennessee who would finish 2-14. The Chiefs did sweep the season series with division rival San Diego but inconsistency plagued the team. The team hopes another season under head coach Andy Reid and some key offseason acquisitions will help get the team over the hump and into a position to compete for a Super Bowl.
